STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF ELECTRICAL - ELECTRONICS VISIT JABIL VIETNAM FACTORY - 2023
On July 14, 2023, the Department of Electrical and Electronics collaborated with Jabil Vietnam LLC to organize a factory tour program for students belonging to this Department.
Students from the Electrical and Electronics Department are getting ready to board the bus for the JABIL - Vietnam factory tour.
Jabil Vietnam is a subsidiary of the multinational American corporation, specializing in providing design, manufacturing, and product management services to global electronics companies. With future growth plans and expansion in the Asian region, Jabil is actively seeking talented and passionate candidates to join us in developing our presence at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
"Electrical and Electronics Department students on a visit to JABIL - Vietnam factory."
The program was attended by professors and senior students from four specialized fields: Industrial Electronics, Industrial Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication and Automation Engineering.
"Professors and students from other departments also participated in the visit to JABIL - Vietnam factory."
After the guided factory tour, we returned to the company's meeting room. It was truly wonderful as we had the opportunity to meet the company's Jabil Vietnam department managers. They shared their work, expertise, and determination to help us lay a strong foundation for our future.
The department managers shared their work experiences with the students
This visit helped us gain a deeper understanding of the general American work culture, as well as Jabil's work culture in particular. Furthermore, through the insights shared by Jabil employees, we not only learned more about their roles and responsibilities but also experienced professionalism, dedication, a passion for their work, and a friendly, approachable feeling from people we met for the first time.
The students were attentively listening to the sharing of the company's employees.
This is a regular activity of the Electrical and Electronics Department, aimed at providing students with opportunities to learn, gain experience, and visit real workplace environments at the companies. It offers valuable information about career opportunities, helping students establish a clear career orientation and mentally prepare to enter the job market.
